DES strong lensing

Conditions of Use
The lens models are provided to DES collaborators with the understanding that they can be used for any internal purpose. The same goes with the data and the coordinates of the objects. Results from DES strong lensing may be used under the DES Publication Policy.

This website is aimed to provide lens models of a list of strong lens objects (confirmed as well as candidates). The modeling is performed with the EasyLens code, publicly available on github

List of objects contained

Link to the data (password protected, usual DES credentials)
Further lens system can be modeled and added on request.

This service is under construction and we are willing to expand the service to the need of the DES Strong Lensing working group.

FAQ


Q:I want to reproduce the results in the jupyter notebook, how can I do this?
A: Install EasyLens, download the folder of the system of interest, including the jupyter notebook in the same folder locally on your computer and run the notebook. Q:I have truble with the installation of EasyLens, whom can I contact?
A: Write an issue on github. You can as well contact Simon Birrer (simon.birrer@phys.ethz.ch) for support of the EasyLens software.
